just reading on how to get the mini's, and realised i should of had a mini-kuunavang with nightfalls collectors edition/ should of had a varesh mini with my factions collectors edition but never got one, even after typing in all the codes, i made shore my game was the propper collectors edition, and it was as my dad got his kuunavang and varesh with his collectors edition, whats up with this?

Factions-told me to type /special and i got nothing

NightFalls-told me to type /special and i got nothing

oh and i notice how Taiwan get a panda, kanaxi and island guardian, dont you think it would be fair if all the mini's were available world wide in a contest.

and i notice how australia is never in a contest to win mini-pets why???

Um lol you have those mixed Varesh comes with the collectors ecition of nightfall, and the Kuunavang comes with the CE of factions. the Asian minis were a Promotion to asia only and for aussys Anet does not see a largenough profit from Aussys to make a promo their. Tripple check your reciepts and make sure they say Collectors edition on them and same for the game box its self and send in a support ticket with all the info needed to prove you bought the CE of both.

i think its /bonusitems or /bonus you have to type if u have typed the CE key in -,
the panda kanaxai etc is probally because they make a deal with Anet and they got alot of players or something - the pandas anyways get sold directly often and its mostly euro/Americans that got em i dont see any problem in that

yes, i did have those mixed, i was half awake when writting this thread.

yes im shore it says collectors edition..it has a big collectors edition under the guildwars name, i even took it back to the store and they told i could not exchange it, as i might have already unlocked the mini's...PFFFT, i typed in specila as soon as i got the games..and my chat log said u have already unlocked these mini pets...my dads said u have unlocked these mini-pets u can only do it once....so dont loose them.....this frigged i have been screwed over threw this game once again...whats the bet the game store sold me a refunded copy

(they sold me a refunded copy on a playstation 2 game before)...i payed for a brend new game...ah well disregard this thread A-Net has made there profit they wont care anyway

I still hope you figure out what happend, Your probley right on the sold you a used copy I get crap reused games all the time it happens, just send in a support ticket with a copy of the reciept for verification and they will sort you all out PROOF FTW.

Since obviously? you created / added those campaigns to your account the access key for the mini pets IS what you create / add each campaign with.

You either got jacked by a friend who knows your account info or possibly your dad. or on the intelligence of this thread you used the mini pet special / bonus which ever command and you either.
A: Unknowingly received the pets and deleted the character they were on.
B: Typed in the wrong command.

Based on what you have said, you must have got jacked by someone that has access to your account.
Or you made a mistake and messed up and lost them forever.

This is a strange and lame situation. Sorry about the loss. Atleast a Varesh is pretty cheap. Not sure on the Kuunavang though

Yeah you cant have got a used game or else you would get "This code is already in use" from the start. Chances are you have typed it on another character.

EDIT: Come to think of it there was a bug that added the CE bonus to your account and unlocked the dances. You may of ran into this causing the game to think you've al;ready unlocked the mini pets.

check your account keys in your account information. also, make sure your inventory has an empty spot available. You can only do it once per accuont.

Star Gazer is right, if you check in 'manage access keys' in the login screen, it should list the Kuunavang and Varesh in there.

When they were released (IIRC) the command /bonusitems was in use. Now though for CE objects you need to type /special , for magazine promo items (such as the destroyer miniature) you type /bonus.

If neither of those work now, either your CE is bugged, or it's already been activated on your account. If the latter is true you should see a message in green in the chat window saying something along the lines of :

"You have already created a Miniature Varesh, this item can only be created once per account"

If the above happens, then it's been activated and either it's on one of your characters or someone's been rifling through your bags without your permission. You could submit a report to NCSoft via their site.

Why? It's not the store's fault. The keys worked, so there are limited conclusions:

Someone hacked the account and only took the items. (Unlikely)

Someone else besides the dad has access (a friend came over once and played, maybe?)

The items were created, not noticed, and the character was deleted thus losing the items forever.

The items are still on a character somewhere. I know this sounds silly, but have you checked all your characters, storage, etc?

In the end, middle finger or not, there is nothing anyone can do. Anet will not give you the items (against their policy); the store won't give you back your money (you already added the keys, the product is now worthless - noone else can use it even if they wanted to!); and we can't magically make a Kuunivang appear in your storage! (although, that would be a cool trick).

For the record: Varesh is plenty cheap, 10k abouts.

Kuunivang will sting more: last I checked, it was selling for 100k + 10 ectos.

Question: When did you buy the games and add the keys? How long did it take for you to realize the pets were missing?

This is a long shot and I doubt it will help since I think you would have noticed but the kuunavang does not show up as a mini pet at first - it appears as a gift that you have to double click in order to open - I suppose it could be remotely possible you overlooked it or thought it was something else.

Another possibility, make sure you pass your mouse over every spot in your inventory on all chars and storage. If the game did not download the icon graphic properly it may be in your inventory but not visible. That happened to me with the moa pet. I thought I didn't get it but it turned out the game just didn't download the icon and it showed up quite a bit later in the inventory.

Anet won't be of assistance to you, being as you have successfully activated the account. The minipets may be lost due to whatever circumstances, which is a shame.

This thread needs closing, as I think I just killed some brain cells by reading it. In the future, please consider more literate and less vindictive wording when posting. Personally, I don't like wasting my time reading a load of unwarranted and ignorant blather. I'm sure that many of the other users feel the same way.

I am starting to think that Gloria is lieing and activated the codes for the minis then sold them, and now wants new ones. So s/he is QQing on the guru forums because s/he can't trick Anet into giving him new ones.

I'd suggest you ask support to tell you exactly what happened to your minis. If they have indeed been created on your account, ANET will have records of what happened to them because they log everything. So what does ANET say happened to your minis ?

Also for anyone thinking he typed in the code incorrectly, it just doesn't seem likely that he managed to mistype one code and still end up with a working code. So we can rule that out.
